About the Site

Tagosds.Org is the first and only online community gateway of Tago, Surigao Del Sur, Philippines. Whether you're a tourist or a resident,  you'll find   in this website information about our beloved town, like what there is to see and do.

Tagosds.org started on January 2005 as a blog (http://tagon-on.blogspot.com), under the name  Kahunganhunganan nan Tago, launching a virtual channel that converged Tagon-ons around the globe. The blog was initiated by BONSAL as site administrator and K-Spy as site moderator. Upon opening, the website traffic obtained an average of 200,000+ hits per month. As the traffic's bandwidth increased, BONSAL develope Tagosds.Org.

On 22 August 2006, Bonsal launched Tagosds.Org version 2 (powered by content management system and My SQL database), paving the way for the upcoming Philippine Web Awards that the site administrator intended to join. Currently, the website traffic shows an average of 500,000+ hits and 5,000+ unique visitors per month.
